The real reasons of eating disorders that diets can’t solve
The real reason why you fail your weight loss battle again and again is NOT because you can’t cut on your sweets & carbs.
It’s because 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐜𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 / 𝐣𝐨𝐲 / 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮!!
Let me explain this a bit more:
We eat food to give energy to our bodies.
Every product has nutritional value and also calories value.
In the perfect world, where we treat food JUST as a fuel for our bodies, we are able to stop eating once we’re full – our brain analyses all nutrients & fullness of stomac and says “OK, that’s enough, thank you, your body doesn’t need more” and you’re able to stop right there.
But for most of us particular foods such as sweets, carbs (pizzas, pastry), chips etc, have MORE than nutritional value.
Those foods have EMOTIONAL value too!
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐈’𝐦 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟.
They just say “eat less pizza & cookies, eat more greens& salads”.
BUT WE ALREADY KNOW THAT!! So why don’t we do that? Why, once we begin dieting, we slip and fall back to eating junk food again?
It happens for the exact reason I’ve mentioned earlier:
𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐖𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐔𝐓!
For two reasons:
1) we don’t know WHAT EXACTLY those foods mean to us, emotionally. We don’t know what emotions our subconscious has attached to them!
2) we don’t know HOW TO SUBSTITUTE this unhealthy & junk source of POSITIVE emotion with an alternative source that’s not related to food!
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 & 𝐦𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬, 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝:
𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐎𝐓𝐇 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬!
